Ko sem pogledal tja, med nebo in zemljo,
Mora najprej umreti, in pustiti meso zgniti.
Prikazen moje smrti
Not a dark night, 'twas already a bright day
when I looked thither, between the sky and earth
An unknown figure, repugnant, standing in my path
Darkness falls upon my eyes as I bury a knife in it.
Who wants to really live, and not just languish,
has to die first, and let flesh decay.
The apparition of my death.
(A moment arrives when we start to feel that it is necessary to radically change our old self-image, our old ego. We have a premonition that nothing will ever be the same as it was. Sometimes, life itself drags us into such a situation, sometimes it is ourselves who speed up the process of change. And it is then that we see the death of some former self, the apparition of our death. On the other hand, this can only be an appeal, a vision that something needs to be changed. Even if it is only the assassination of the bourgeois in ourselves!)
